Apple released iOS 10.3’s Sixth beta to developers, just after a week of releasing the fifth beta and after three months of releasing iOS 10.2 the last major to iOS 10 Operating system.
After few hours of releasing developer beta, Apple provided the beta to the public beta testers. To be a part of Apple’s developer program developers need to pay, whereas its free for anyone to join the Company’s Beta Software program.
The major update consist of significant new features as well as changes to the iOS. The most popular feature that’s gonna enroll in iOS 10.3 is “Find My AirPods”, the feature is designed to help AirPods owners to find a lost earphone. Feature records last known Location of the AirPods when it was connected to your device and can play a sound on a lost AirPod.
Apple changed the way a device exits/opens an application, according to Brandon Butch. Latest update also includes a new Apple File System (APFS), gets installed when a device is updated to iOS 10.3 it is optimized for SSD storage and includes strong Encryption.
Apple also plans to introduced some features on App store like allowing developers to respond customer reviews for the first time ever. iOS users will be able to respond to a review as “Helpful” or “Not Helpful”, which will surely help to top up the most relevant review.
Apple iOS 10.3 users will also be able to restrict review requests from App developers. A master switch will be provided in the settings to toggle whether apps can ask for reviews request prompts.
Future releases might kill ton of apps becauses according to an app analytics firm, Apple plans to kill 32-bit support.
