Coolpad formerly called as “China Wireless Technologies Limited” today launched a new smartphone in India. the Coolpad Note 5 Lite is a economical version of the Coolpad Note 5 which was launched in India last year in September. the smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon starting from 21st March and will be priced at Rs. 8,199 only. At the launch event the chinese smartphone company also announced that it has over 380 service centres spread across 29 states in India and it also had managed to sell 2 million Coolpad Cool 1 Dual smartphones globally.
The Coolpad Note 5 Lite features a Metal Body and sports a 5-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 2.5D curved glass, combined with a pixel density of 294 PPI. it is powered by a 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and a Mali 720 GPU. It is packed with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and for the selfie lovers it features a 8MP front shooter with LED flash. the smartphone also come with a Fingerprint sensor on the back and support USB OTG.
Coming to storage front, the smartphone is packed with 16GB of internal storage which is further expandable up-to 64GB via MicroSD card. on the Connectivity front, it include 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro-USB. the smartphone also includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor and it is powered by a 2500 mAh battery. the smartphone will be available in Gold and Grey colour.
