There was a huge buzz few months back for the Freedom 251 smartphone which was offered at an incredible price of ₹251. the Freedom 251 caught attention of the entire nation within few weeks. however, due to many controversies an FIR was register against the makers.
Nearly 60 million registrations were received by the company in few days but after taking initial bookings for handset. the Freedom 251 makers confirmed that it would take cash on delivery and announced pre-booking money to be refunded to users.
Since then, another Indian based brand mPhone came out making the headlines offering exceptional specifications at cheap prices but due to the financial state of the proprietors. there were controversies surrounding the developers of mPhone ‘Mango’ smartphone, and they were arrested for bank fraud at the launch of the brand in India.
Now in this atmosphere of doubt an another Indian based brand Docoss, a Jaipur based company has launched a new smartphone that at just ₹888. the delivery of the smartphone is expected to begin from May 02 by the company’s promotions whereas the pre-bookings is going to closed on Friday.
The Docoss X1 runs on Android version of 4.4.2 KitKat and sports of 4-inch display with an unconventional resolution of 400×480 pixels. It is powered by 1.2GHz dual-core Cortex-A7 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 4GB internal storage which is expandable via microSD upto 32GB. the smartphone features 2MP rear camera and 0.3MP front camera. the device is backed by 1300mAh capacity battery. on the connectivity front It supports GPRS/EDGE, Dual SIM, 3G.
As per the company listings the device supports 4G connectivity but a representative confirmed that it offers only 3G.
