According to fresh leaks, our Friends at Frandroid had the opportunity to try their hands on the prototype of Nokia 9 which was protected by “Black Box” to hide its design. they also shared the device specifications. the smartphone is packed with 5.27-inch WQHD (1440x 2560 pixels) Display along with pixel density of 557 DPI powered by Snapdragon 835 (MSM8998) processor clocked at 2.46GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. although, there is also possibility that the company would also introduced a 6GB RAM variant but, we don’t have a concrete evidence as for now.
On the camera front, it sported a 13-megapixel Dual camera – one with monochrome sensor, while the other with RGB sensor. although, the pictures clicked from the device were of low quality and did’nt match the expectations but do take a note that, its still a prototype. the camera also feature several options including the ability to stream live video via YouTube or Facebook or take a picture with both the sensor front and rear sensor. The two images are then arranged according to the taste of the user, or as two superimposed squares.
The Nokia 9 Prototype runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update with the latest security updates. it feature similar UI found on Google Pixel devices with application drawer system which open by sliding the bottom screen, same application icons. it also featured “Always on Display” which displays time, date, battery level, messages and missed calls.
Other notable features includes Quickcharge 3.0, USB Type-C along with pair of quality earphones with a complete control on the cable (play / pause, and two buttons for volume).
