Flipkart, the Indian e-commerce company based in Bengaluru, India today has unveiled ‘Billion’, its owned #MadeForIndia smartphone brand. the company also announced its first Billion branded smartphone Capture+ which is designed and engineered keeping consumer needs of Indians.

The highlight feature of the device is that it sports Dual Rear Camera setup, Runs on the latest stock Android, supports Fast-charging technology and comes with unlimited cloud storage.
Commenting on the launch, Sachin Bansal, Co-Founder and Executive Chairman, Flipkart, said, “The Billion brand’s products have always been backed by meticulous data-driven research and insight into Indian customers’ needs. The features in the Capture+ too have been derived from deep data-mining of millions of Flipkart customers’ reviews. Few true dual camera phones offer this combination of flagship features. We’re sure this customer-centricity will delight Indian smartphone buyers,”
Coming to the specification, The Billion Capture+ sports a metal body and bears a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) Display along with a pixel density of 401PPI and 2.5D Dragontrail glass protection. the device is powered by an octa-core 2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor paired with Adreno 506 GPU. the device is backed by a 3,500 mAh battery which the company claims will offer two days of battery life and comes with USB Type-C for Fast-charging support. the device runs on the latest stock Android 7.1.2 update operating system with a guaranteed upgrade to Android Oreo and is available in two storage and RAM configuration – the 3GB LPDDR3 RAM variant comes with 32GB on-board storage, while, the 4GB LPDDR3 RAM variant comes with 64GB on-board storage. it is also bundled with free unlimited cloud storage and comes with Fingerprint sensor placed at the back of device.
The device sports a pair of 13-megapixel dual rear cameras which consists a combination of Monochrome and RGB sensor with dual tone flash. the dual rear camera works just like the human eye, with RGB and monochrome sensors working in tandem to capture vibrant colours in vivid detail, it can also capture twice the light as compared to a single rear camera in low light. the device offers ‘DSLR’ like Bokeh shots with Depth of Field effects and comes with portrait mode. the device also sports an 8-megapixel front facing selfie shooters.
On the connectivity front, the option includes Hybrid Dual SIM (nano+nano/microSD), 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and USB Type-C.
