Huawei launched its new Honor V8 smartphone in China. The smartphone is available via Vmall, JD.com etc with the first sale starting from May 17. It is priced at CNY 2,299(roughly Rs 23,500) for 4GB of RAM + 32GB internal storage variant, CNY 2,499(roughly Rs 25,500) for 4GB of RAM + 32GB internal storage with additional network support and CNY 2,799(roughly Rs 28,600) for 4GB of RAM + 64GB of internal storage variant with QHD display.
The Honor V8 comes in two variant display depending upon the model that is 32GB internal storage has a 5.7-inch full-HD with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and other is 64GB internal storage has a 5.7-inch Quad HD with a resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The Honor V8 is powered by 2.5GHz octa-core Kirin 950 SoC and paired with 4GB of RAM. It has an internal storage of 32GB or 64GB and is expandable via microSD card up-to capacity of 128GB. It runs with an Android version of 6.0 Marshmallow and is backed by 3500mAh battery with fast charging.
The Honor V8 has a camera features of 12MP rear with dual-tone LED flash(f/2.2 aperture) and 8MP front (f/2.4 aperture). It also supports dual-SIM setup(Nano-SIM cards), 4G LTE, Indian LTE bands, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, GPS/A-GPS, an Infrared emitter, USB Type-C port and sensors on board include gravity sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, fingerprint sensor on rear panel and magnetometer. It is available in Rose Gold, Champagne Gold, Glacier Silver and Platinum Gold colour variants.
