LeEco, the chinese smartphone manufacturer recently announced a cheaper variant of the Le Pro 3 which was originally launched in September last year. the smartphone is dubbed as “Le Pro 3 Elite” and is economical variant of the original Le Pro 3.
The Le Pro 3 Elite sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD 2.5 D curved display with a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and pixel density of 403 PPI. it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 clocked at 2.15 GHz paired with 4GB of RAM and Adreno 530 GPU, and comes with 32GB of in-built storage, unfortunately it doesn’t supports storage expansion.
On the camera front, the smartphone boasts a 16 MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, HDR, BSI CMOS sensor, 4K video recording at 30fps and a slow-motion recording of 720p at 120fps. on the front, there’s a 8 MP front facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture and a 76.5-degree wide-angle lens.
The smartphone runs on EUI 5.8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is packed by a non-removable Li-Po 4070 mAh Battery with support for USB Type – C 1.0 reversible connector, Dual SIM (Nano SIM) and a Fingerprint Sensor.
on the connectivity front, the smartphone supports 2G, 3G, 4G LTE with support for all bands in India, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth v4.2, WiFi Direct, hotspot and USB Type-C. it also includes a proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and an infrared emitter.
The leEco Le Pro 3 elite features a similar design to Le Pro 3, and being a economical variant doesn’t supports NFC. the processor is also downgraded as, the Le Pro 3 featured a Snapdragon 821 processor. the Le Pro 3 Elite is priced at CNY 1,699.
