Earlier this year Lenovo, The Chinese tech company announced its partnership with the search giant Google for world’s first project Tango-enabled smartphone and today Lenovo has offially launched the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro in a launch event in San Fransisco.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro features a metal unibody and is Lenovo’s first attempt in bringing the augmented reality and virtual reality. The 4 cameras placed at the back panel brings you improved augmented reality effect on the handset display. It features three basic sensors – motion tracking, depth perception, and area learning.
The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro features a 6.4-inch QHD resolution IPS display powered by Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 4GB of RAM running on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. It sports in total four cameras, A 8MP front-facing camera, a 16MP RGB rear camera ( with a motion tracking rear camera and a depth tracking rear camera) it comes built-in with storage capacity of 64GB, Dolby Atmos sound technology, It is also the world’s first phablet to feature Dolby 5.1 audio capture technology. the phablet is backed by a 4000mAh battery, It also supports 2.4x fast charging tech and a fingerprint sensor.
The handset will be available in Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey colour variants at a price of $499 and will start shipping in August this year and will be available globally starting from September.
