Meizu, the Chinese handset manufacturer has today unveiled their new smartphone the Meizu MX6 at a launch event in China. the MX6 is Priced at CNY 1,999 (nearabout Rs. 20,000), it is expected to go on sale from 30th of July through at retailers shop and will be available through online from partners starting tuesday.
The dual-SIM cards MX6 smartphone sports a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) LCD display powered by a 2.3GHz deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage. it runs on Flyme OS 5.5 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. it is also packed with fingerprint scanner embedded on the home button which claims to unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds and can be also used for biometric payments carried over via Alipay. The Meizu MX6 smartphone is backed by a 3060 mAh battery with fast charging support. The company claims that MX6 can get up to 65 percent charge in just 30 minute with its fast charging “m-Charge” support.
For the camera lovers, It features a 12-megapixel rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture, dual tone LED flash, PDAF (phase detection autofocus), and also supports 4K video recording. whereas on the front it sports a 5-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
On the connectivity front, it features 4G LTE, VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack, and also come with USB Type-C port. the Meizu MX6 measures 153.6×75.2×7.2mm and weighs around 155 grams.
At the launch event, The company also unveiled the Loop Jacket, a protective case for the smartphone which is priced at CNY 79 (nearabout Rs. 800) alongwith the Lifeme Bluetooth speakers for CNY 399 (nearabout Rs. 4,000). the company has not revealed any deatils about the global availibility of the MX6 smartphone.
