Micromax, the India based smartphone manufacturing company today launched Bharat 5 smartphone in India. the biggest USP of the device is its massive 5,000 mAh battery which is touted to give two days of battery life. the company also announced that it is going to launch more devices in its portfolio of ‘Bharat’ series and aiming to sell over 6 Million Bharat units by March 2018. going ahead, the company also revealed it is planning to launch the Bharat 5 Plus and Bharat 5 Pro in the next two months.
Bharat 5 — The Power of 5 : Pure power on-the-go! The Bharat 5 is not just a phone, it’s a 5000mAh powerbank that keeps you charged throughout the day. With 4G VoLTE, a 5.2″ HD screen, two 5MP cameras and much more, it’s a smartphone that’s in a class of its own.
The Micromax Bharat 5 sports a 5.2-inch HD ( 1280 x 720 p) display with 2.5D curved glass and 400 NITS brightness. it is powered by a 64-Bit 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of DDR3 RAM. it is packed with 16GB of on-board storage and supports storage expansion up-to 64GB via MicroSD card. the device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat update and is backed by a massive 5,000 mAh battery which also doubles up as a power-bank.
The device sports a 5-megapixel rear camera with F/2.2 aperture, auto-focus, LED flash & time lapse. on the front, there’s also a 5-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash, 83.3-degree wide-angle lens to capture group selfies and features a larger 1.4um pixel sensor. it also supports Water mark, Bokeh mode, Portrait mode, Beauty mode and Panorama mode.

On the connectivity front, the device option includes 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, FM Radio, Micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack.
