Micromax yesterday launched a budget smartphone in its popular Canvas segment named as Micromax Canvas Evok (E483). The device comes with decent feature as compared to its price Rs. 8,499
The dual sim dual standby Micromax Canvas Evok sports a 5.5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD IPS display with 267ppi as pixel density and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection laid on top and is powered by Snapdragon 415 64-bit octa-core processor clocked at 1.4GHz coupled with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB RAM. The Micromax Canvas Evok runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box and is planned to get Android Marshmallow update in future.
The Micromax Canvas Evok features a 13MP autofocus primary camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP front camera for selfie lovers. The highlight feature of Micromax Canvas Evok , is that Both the camera’s are capable of recording videos in 1080p resolution at 30/FPS.
On the storage front, It comes with 16GB in-built storage which is expandable upto 64GB via MicroSD Card. The only disappointing thing about the Micromax Canvas Evok is that just like every Micromax phones, it comes with plethora of bloatware apps like Amazon, Amazon Kindle, App Center, Clean Master, Citrus Cube, Hike, M! account, M!live, Swift key, and many more.
On the connectivity front, The 4G LTE Micromax Canvas Evok is packed with options like VoLTE, 2G/3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS and microUSB 2.0 port with OTG support.
The Micromax Canvas Evok is backed by a 3000mAh battery and will be available exclusively on Flipkart in Black color variant.
