Micromax, the Indian smartphone and electronics manufacturing company based in Gurugram, India has today launched a new device dubbed as the Canvas Infinity Pro. the USP of the device is that it carry forward the current trend of ‘FullVision’ Display along with (taller) 18:9 aspect ration, slim bezels and a Dual Front Facing Selfie camera with Portrait Mode, which automatically blurs the background picture and give its a DSLR like ‘Bokeh’ effect.

Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro Specification
The Micromax Canvas Infinity Pro bears a 5.7-inch ‘FullVision’ (1440 x 720 p) HD Display with 18:9 aspect ratio, 85% NTSC color gamut and 450 nits brightness. the device is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm (MSM8937) Snapdragon 430 mobile platform paired with 4GB of DDR3 RAM and Adreno 505 GPU. the device runs on Android 7.1 Nougat update and is packed with 64GB of on-board storage which also supports storage expansion up-to 128GB via MicroSD card.
On the optics front, as mentioned earlier the device sports a Front Facing Dual camera setup which is a combination of 20-megapixel primary sensor equipped with an f/2.0 aperture for stunning clarity and detail and another 8-megapixel secondary sensor equipped with an f/2.2 aperture which offers additional depth and 125-Degree Field-of-View for group selfies. the Selfie camera comes with Portrait mode and soft selfie flash which is capable of capturing flawless photos, even in low-light.
The device also sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with AutoFocus and LED flash. it also features Beauty mode, Time Lapse and Panorama mode. the device uses an image and facial recognition tool which allow users to search for pictures in the gallery by recognizing a person’s face and also comes with another feature named as Tale Album, which automatically covert pictures from gallery into an album in a slideshow format. the rear camera is capable of capturing 1080 pixels video recording.
The Canvas Infinity Pro is backed by a 3,000 mAh battery capacity which the company claims can deliver 21 hours of talk time, 200 hours of standby time and 6 hours of video playback. it also includes connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, Fingerprint sensor (at the back), and USB OTG.
