Lenovo owned Motorola is on a roll this year launching devices one after the another on a successive note. the company is once again in the news as the rumor mill is buzzing that the firm is expected to announced soon a new device in the X series which was in the back seat since 2015 in favor of the Moto Z segment.
The device we are talking about is the upcoming Moto X4 which was leaked earlier in photo render and showcase the device from both front and the back. the highlight feature of the device is its Rear Dual Camera Setup coupled with the premium looks which makes the device more like a flagship offering. the device is also expected with IP68 dust and water resistant.
Coming to the specifications, The Moto X4 is expected to feature a 5.2-inch Full HD Display along with the Gorilla Glass Protection on the front. the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor paired with Adreno 508 GPU, and will be available in two variants differ by RAM and internal storage, one with a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and the other with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
On the optics front, The Moto X4 is expected to sports a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor with F/2.0 aperture and a 8-megapixel secondary camera with ultra-wide sensor and F/2.2 aperture which is capable of capturing depth-of-field effects, along with Dual-Tone LED Flash and Phase Detection AutoFocus (PDAF) – on the front, it is expected to sport a 16-megapixel front facing camera with 1.0µm pixel size sensor and F/2.0 aperture. the selfie camera is also touted to capture ultra low-light selfie and will feature Adaptive low-light mode.
The Moto X4 is expected to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update out-of-the box and will be backed by 3,000 mAh non-removable battery with support for TurboCharging. the device will also feature a Fingerprint Sensor embedded on the oval shape home button.
The Moto X4 is expected to be available in Super Black or Sterling Blue colour options, and will measure at 148.35 x 73.4 x 7.99 mm & weight at 163 grams.
