Lenovo owned Motorola is scheduled to announced its next smartphone in Moto Z series on July 25 launch event in New York City. the company is expected to unveiled the second member from the Moto Z2 family, the Moto Z2 Force after Moto Z2 Play which was launched in India last month.
A render image of the Flagship device was recently shared by famous leakstar Evan Bass in a report from VentureBeat. the render showcase the device from all sides and reveals a dual rear camera setup, Motorola’s bat logo at the back, a front facing camera with LED flash along with a home button, volume rocker and power button on the right side.
Coming to the specifications, the report states that the device bears 5.5-inch shatterproof 1440p Shattershield Super AMOLED POLED display and is powered by Snapdragon 835, an upgrade from its predecessor which was launched with Snapdragon 820. the device will be paired with 6GB of RAM for all regions except the United States where only 4GB RAM. on the storage front, it will be packed with 64GB on-board storage in all markets, except, China where it will be packed with 128GB on-board storage. furthermore, it will also support storage expansion up-to 2TB via MicroSD card support. the device is backed by 2730 mAh Battery support which i think is disappointing, as its predecessor was packed with 3500 mAh Battery support.
On the optics front, the device sports a 12-megapixel rear dual camera setup at the back and a front facing 5-megapixel selfie camera with LED flash. the device will run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update out-of-the box and comes with support for guaranteed Android O upgrade.
The device also sports water repellant nano-coating and sports a slim design when compare to its predecessor in a bid to make it lighter when attached with certain MotoMods. the device will be available in Super Black or Fine Golf colour option with exclusive Lunar Grey colour option for T-Mobile users.
