After the official launch of the revamp version of the iconic Nokia 3310 (2017) in India. HMD Global, the Finnish company which owns the license to use Nokia’s brand name on phones and tablets is all set to launch the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphone in the country. the company today has started sending press invites for the official launch event of the smartphone which is scheduled on June 13.
HMD Global officially announced the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 along with the iconic Nokia 3310 revamped version at Mobile World Congress, 2017 held in Barcelona. the company launched the Nokia 3310 (2017) in India last month and it is available in four colour options with Warm Red and Yellow, both with glossy finish, and Dark Blue and Grey, both with a matte finish. furthermore, a spokesperson for the company also stated that the smartphones will get the Android O update once it is release and available from Google for their OEM partners and the company is also committed to provide the monthly Android security updates.
Android O or Android Oreo, is the code name for the next major update of Android software update after the launch of Android 7.0 Nougat update. It is currently in early development phase and is available only for Beta Testers.
Nokia 5 — The curved edges Nokia 5 features a metallic body with a 5.5-inch display and it is further packed by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor paired with 2GB of Ram and 16 GB of internal storage on-board. on the camera front it is packed by a 13 Megapixel rear cam and a 8 Megapixel front camera with wide angle support. it runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the box with Google Assistant and will be available in silver, blue, matte black and copper colour option.
Nokia 3 — The lower-end Nokia 3 feature’s a poly-carbonate back with a aluminum frame and is packed by a 5-inch display powered by a MediaTek 6737 coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage on-board. on the camera front it is packed by a 8MP front and rear cam and just like the Nokia 5 it also runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out-of-the box with Google Assistant.
Nokia 6 — Nokia 6 is a Nokia-branded mid-range smartphone and it is HMD Global first smartphone after acquiring Nokia’s devices division from Microsoft. it is also the first Nokia-branded smartphone since Lumia 638 in 2014. the dual SIM (GSM + CDMA) Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch Full HD touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 1920 pixels at a PPI of 403 pixels per inch powered by 1.1GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM. for the Camera lovers, The Nokia 6 is packed by a 16 megapixel primary camera on the rear and 8-megapixel front camera for the selfie addicts. on the storage front it comes built-in with 32GB/64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up-to 128GB via MicroSD card. it runs on Android 7.0 (Andorid Nougat) out of the box and is powered by a 3000mAh non-removable battery. on the connectivity front Nokia 6 includes Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG, FM, 3G/4G. the phone include Compass Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor and Gyroscope Sensors. The handset also supports Dolby Atmos to give you 3D sound effect.
Coming to the pricing, The Nokia 6 is priced at Euro 249 (roughly Rs 17,600) while, the Nokia 5 is priced at Euro 189 (roughly Rs 13,500) and the lower-end Nokia 3 is priced at Euro 139 (roughly Rs 9,800).
