Meet Nokia 7, The Newest Member of Nokia Android phone Family.
HMD Global, the Finnish company who owns the license to use Nokia’s brand name on phones and tablets announced their latest offering in mid-range segment, The Nokia 7 in a launch event held in China.
The highlight feature of the new Nokia 7, it is the first device from the company to sport corning gorilla glass protection at the back and is built-in with the 7000 series aluminium body. Just like the Nokia 8, it is also touted to feature “Dual-Sight” mode common termed as #Bothie which capture picture both from Rear and Front Camera simultaneously along with Nokia OZO audio technology that supports 360-degree recording.
The Nokia 7 bears a 5.2-inch IPS 2.5D (1080 x 1920 p)display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 overlaid on it. the device is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor paired with 4GB/6GB RAM options. it comes with 64GB of on-board storage and comes with expandable storage up-to 128GB via MicroSD card support. the device also features Fingerprint sensor placed at the back below the camera module.
On the optics front, the device sports a 16-megapixel rear camera with Zeiss optics, F/1.8 aperture, 1.12 pixel sensor and Dual-tone LED Flash. on the front, there’s an 5-megapixel selfie shooter with F/2.0 aperture, 1.4 pixel sensor and 84-degree Field-of-View.
The Nokia 7 runs on stock (purest form of) Android 7.1.1 Nougat update and is eligible to get the recently Android 8.0 Oreo update along with monthly security patches. it is backed by non-removable 3,000 mAh battery. it includes connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, NFC, and USB Type-C port. the device comes with IP54 rating of spalsh proof and measures at 141.2 x 71.4 x 7.9 mm
Coming to the pricing, The Nokia 7 is priced at CNY. 2,499 (approx. 24,500) for the 4GB RAM variant and CNY. 2,699 (approx. 26,500) for the 6GB RAM variant. the device will go on sale in China starting from October 24 in Gloss Back and Matte White colour options.
