Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturing company is reportedly in works to extend its portfolio of “Redmi Note” series by announcing the successor of the Redmi Note 4. the company is reportedly announcing the upcoming Redmi Note 5A at a launch event scheduled to held in China on Monday.
Prior to its launch, The Redmi Note 5A specifications are already leaked on Chinese certification site TENAA which showcase two variants code-named as MDT6 and MDT6S. Both, the variants comes with identical specification but what caught our attention is that one of the variant is packed with Fingerprint sensor on the back, while the other is missing it completely.
As per TENAA listing, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A would feature a 5.5-inch HD (1280 × 720p) display and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with 2GB/3GB of RAM and 16GB/32GB of internal storage.
The device is expected to backed by 3000 mAh Battery and Run out-of-the box on MIUI 9, which is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat update.
On the optics front, it is also expected to sport a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 5-megapixel front facing selfie shooter MIUI 9, and support dual-SIM. On the camera front, the handset is said to come with a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera.
The device measures at 153.3 × 76.3 × 7.31 mm and weighs at 150 grams.
