Chinese smartphone manufacturer, UMIDIGI which was previously known as UMi has launched two new flagship devices dubbed as UMIDIGI Z1 and Z1 Pro. the highlight feature of both the devices are its dual camera setup at the back which is quite a trend now-a-days. the UMIDIGI Z1 is available in Prime Gray and Soft Gold color options and Z1 Pro is available in Passion Red and Matte Black color option
The UMIDIGI Z1 and Z1 Pro smartphone sports a Aluminum Alloy Uni-body with bezel-less feature on the left and right sides. The Z1 Pro features AMOLED display whereas, the Z1 is packed with LCD Display except these. both, the devices are packed with same specifications and hardware.

The UMIDIGI Z1 sports a 5.5-inch LCD Display (1080 x 1920 pixels) with 2.5D Arc screen and The UMIDIGI Z1 Pro sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED Display (1080 x 1920 pixels) both, the devices comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. both, the smartphone are powered by 64-Bit MediaTek octa-core Helio P20 (MT6757 ) processor clocked at 2.3 GHz coupled with 6GB of RAM and ARM Mali-T880 MP2 GPU. the smartphone comes with 64GB of internal storage and supports storange expansion up-to 256GB via MicroSD card. both, the smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat update is backed by 4000 mAh massive battery which claims to give a full day of use even on your most demanding days. it is further backed by PE+ Quick Charge technology which can charge the device for normal 1 day use within 30 minutes and Full charge within just 100 minutes. PE+ Quick Charge technology is only compatible with the PE+ Type-C cable and adapter. the smartphone is also packed with finger print sensor embedded on the home button which claims to unlock the device in Unlock in 0.1-0.3 seconds.
The UMIDIGI Z1 and Z1 Pro smartphone sports a rear dual camera setup placed at upper left corner with a combination of 13MP + 5MP cameras and gives top-of-the-line image quality and captures lively life moments. on the front there is 5-megapixel selfie shooter with Beauty mode feature. both, the samrtphone can capture video recording in HD, 2K and 4K format.
On the connectivity front, the option includes Dual-SIM, Nano-SIM (one Nano-SIM + MicroSD or Two Nano-SIM setup), Wi-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n 2.4/5GHZ dual-band, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, USB Type-C and USB OTG support. the smartphone also on-boards sensor including Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Compass, Gyroscope and hall sensor. the Z1 Pro smartphone measures at 154.4 x 75.1 x 6.95 mm and weighs at 148 grams all thanks to AMOLED Display which helped it to come down 6.95mm thinness, whereas the Z1 smartphone measures at 154 x 76 x 8.2 mm and weighs at 175 grams.

The UMIDIGI Z1 smartphone is priced at $269.99 (approx Rs. 17,500) and is available with $40 off during pre-sale subscription. while, the UMIDIGI Z1 Pro smartphone is priced at $299.99 (approx Rs. 19,500) and is available with a limited stock out of which 1,000 pieces are available for the global market. to purchase the Z1 Pro smartphone, you need to subscribe first on the company’s official website here.
The UMIDIGI Z1 Pro was supposed to packed with 8GB RAM, but due to lack of supply which would have delayed the production. the company decided to release both Z1 and Z1 Pro with 6GB RAM at the same time as promised earlier.
