Xiaomi has recently launched a new Mi 360° Panoramic Camera which like it’s name suggest, is capable of capturing 360° panoramic pictures. the Mi 360° Panoramic camera comes with 23.88MP two Sony IMX 206 sensors and is capable of recording 3.5K video with a resolution of 3456 × 1728 pixels. its also features f/2.0 lens and two Sony IMX 206 sensors and also has 4 shooting modes and can also function as a regular camera. the Mi Panoramic has an IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating and also features a 6-axis electronic anti-shake function. the photos can be further edited via an independent app.
Being an action camera it is made to deal with shaky hands, survive immersion in water with a depth of up to 1 meter and handle temperature as low as −10 degrees. Its metal housing is also dust-proof and measures 78×67.4×24 mm. the camera is compact, weightless and is is designed with square shape along with a fisheye lens at the front and back. the camera can also be used as an ordinary camera and it comes with four modes.
Mi 360° Panoramic Camera also features a 1600 mAh battery that gives 90 min of continuous footage without Wi-Fi connection and 75 min with Wi-Fi on. to have remote control from a smartphone the camera has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built into its body. It also supports storage expansion vi MicroSD cards up to 128GB to store all the footage and it also ships with a tripod as a bonus.

The Mi 360° Panoramic camera is currently available only in the China region and is priced at 1699 Yuan which is approximately $246 and would be available for purchase from April 6 on the company’s e-store Mi Mall.
