Xiaomi has silently announced the launch of Mi Pad 3 in China by listing the tablet on their website. the Xiaomi Mi Pad 3 is priced at 1499 yuan and will be available in Champagne Gold colour. it carry forwards the same design of its predecessor the Mi Pad 2 but features upgraded hardware.
Coming to hardware, The Mi Pad 3 sports a metal body built-in with a 7.9-inch Retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536p and a pixel density of 326PPI alongwith the new black and white screen mode and MIUI8 unique eye protection mode. it is powered by a 64 Bit hexa-core MediaTek MT8176 processor paired with 4GB LPDDR3 of RAM, IMG GX6250 GPU and comes with 64GB of internal storage which is not expandable further.
The Mi Pad 3 features a 13 megapixel rear camera withF/2.2 aperture, 1080p HD video recording support with a variety of filter effects, along with, adding text or playing mosaic. on the front there is a 5 megapixel camera with F/2.0 aperture. it is further backed by 6600mAh large battery which Supports 5V / 2A fast charge and claims to give a standby time of upto 867 hours.
The Mi Pad 3 tablet runs Android Marsmallow with the company’s MIUI 8 UI on top of it. on the connectivity front, it includes 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, USB Type-C, WiFi Display and WiFi Direct. it also onboards Gravity sensor, Ambient Light sensor, Gyroscope and Hall sensor. the tablet measures at 200.4 x 132.6 x 6.95mm and weighs 328 grams.
The Mi Pad 3 tablet will be going on sale starting from tomorrow April 6 in China and will be able from the company’s website, JD.com, and Suning. the company has’nt announced any details about the global launch of the Mi 3 Tablet.
