Its official now Xiaomi has finally put an end to all rumour mills surrounding the launch of Mi 6 smartphone. in a live streaming session with Mi Fans – the company’s CEO Mr Lei Jun confirmed that the Xiaomi’s Mi 6 smartphone will be launching this month. although there are no specific date announced, but the sources are pointing towards April 11 or April 18 launch event.
The Mi 6 smartphone is a successor to the Mi 5 smartphone which was launched in India at a priced of Rs. 24,999 in March, 2016 last year. coming to the specification earlier leaks suggested that the Xiaomi’s Mi 6 smartphone is expected to launch with three variants which will be differ by RAM and Internal Storage of 4GB of RAM + 32GB storage, 4GB + 64GB, and 6GB + 128GB variants priced at CNY 1,999, CNY 2,299 and CNY 2,699 respectively with the premium variant expected to feature a dual curved display.
The latest rumours indicates that the company might announce the Mi 6 in two variants, one with a 5.15-inch FHD screen, while the other Mi 6 Plus will sport a bigger 5.7-inch display. Both, the variants are expected to run on MIUI 8 based on Android 7.0 Nougat ans will be powered by 64-Bit quad-core Snapdragon 835 processor which will be clocked at 2.45GHz and paired with Andreno 540 GPU. the Mi 6 might feature 4GB/6GB RAM and 32GB/64GB/128GB internal storage options. the Mi 6 Plus is expected to get 6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB Internal storage options.
Both, the Mi 6 variant is expected to sport a 19 megapixel rear camera and a 8 megapixel front-facing shooter for the selfie addcits. the Mi 6 is expected to house by a 3200mAh battery, while the Mi 6 Plus is expected to backed by a 4500mAh large battery. Both, the smartphones will support nano SIM cards as well.
